There are many people saying that Jesus did not speak out or condemn Homosexuality which is misleading especially when you consider that Jesus was very firm when he speaks in the first person in the book of Revelation chapter 22. Also when you consider the very first chapter in the book of revelation it is clear that Jesus Christ is dictating His thoughts through the Angel to the Apostle John which reads:
Revelation 1 Verse 1 – 3 – “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, 2 who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, everything that he saw.3 Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.”
Here is where Jesus also spoke clearly in the First Person Revelation 21 Verse 7 – 8 – “The one who overcomes will inherit these things (the new heaven and the new earth), and I will be his God and he will be My son.
8 But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Definition of Abomination and where it has been used in Scripture….
Leviticus 18 Verse 22 – “You shall not sleep with a male as one sleeps with a female; it is an abomination.”
Also consider Revelation chapter 22 starting from verse 6 all the way to verse 21 it reads:
Revelation 22 Verse 6 – 21 – “6 And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true”; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.
More words of Jesus speaking in the first person’ “And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
10 And he *said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong still do wrong, and the one who is filthy still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous still practice righteousness, and the one who is holy still keep himself holy.”
12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral persons, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you of these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever follows His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected.
Very important to note that same sex relations are not only condemned in the Old Testament but also in the New Testament such as
1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 9: 9 “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.” 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
Because the judgment period is yet to come, I think a careful study of the scriptures is so important. That is why I am moved to counter all the FALSE TEACHINGS that our out there.
Romans chapter 1: 26-31
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity.”
