In 1997 a dear couple who were watching Howard’s programmes on Identity Television, a subsidiary of BET (Black Entertainment Television) insisted Howard put his testimony onto videotape. Anyway, a long story made short. Even though the filming took place around 1996/7, Howard did nothing with it for about four years.

In 1990, Howard and Lesley Conder journeyed from the UK to post-revolution Romania to adopt an abandoned baby, rescuing her from a dire orphanage fate. With their young sons and a van packed with gifts for local children, they navigated a challenging five-month adoption process amidst the country’s political turmoil. Decades later, Howard shares their emotional journey through newly released video footage, celebrating the love and determination that brought their daughter, Rebecca, into their family.

Despite having a small apartment and recently adopting a child, the Conder family felt called to become foster carers. With faith and a series of remarkable occurrences, including finding a large house and receiving unexpected financial help, they overcame obstacles and were able to foster over 130 children in need.
