77-year-old Howard (Howie) plays the Drums to Take Five rhythm.
Howard started playing the drums at the age of 12 and by the time he was 16 years of age (1963) he was offered a 5-year contract playing professionally for the Barron Knights, then Joe Brown as a Bruvver. Howard soon began to do session work for Joe Meek and worked a short time for NEMS Enterprises, the Beatles Management Company and Robert Stigwood RSO.
Howard played for many other Pop Groups in the Sixties, Unit 4+2, Billy Fury, Peter and Gordon and then moved to America where he set up a Music Recording Studio London Music and worked with Fitzgerald Scott whose R&B hits sold in the millions.
After ten years, Howard and his family moved back to the UK and after 13 years of Fostering over 100 children they started a Christian TV Channel which has now been broadcasting for over 20 years.
