Howard Conder and his film crew interviewed several people for this documentary, sincerely looking for the truth on this all important topic. Although this was filmed in 1999 it is even more relevant today especially since October 7th 2023.

We endeavoured to look at the history of what is referred to as Israel and Palestine. Are God’s promises regarding the ‘Promised Land’ which are recorded in the Holy Bible promises meant for the Jews or for the Arabs? (Palestinians).

There has been enmity between these two faith groups, Judaism and Islam for too many centuries now and it’s become even more apparent from recent events that it looks like there can be no lasting peaceful solution.

There are many scriptures in the Old Testament and the New Testament to clarify God’s views and wishes as to whom the Holy Land should belong to, and as Howard discovered for himself, when reading the entire bible and spending almost a lifetime researching other historical records and visiting ancient sites, he has become more convinced as to who has the right to the land known today as Israel.

Jesus Christ referred to Israel a few times such as is recorded in Matthew chapter 8 verse 10 when Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” also Israel is mentioned again by Jesus as recorded in Matthew chapter 10 verse 23 “But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.”

God’s plan is that one day both Jew and Arab will be at peace with each other, and the gentiles are also invited into this new covenant or promise, as recorded in the books of Revelation and Isaiah.

The original promise and declaration is recorded in Genesis chapter 12 verse 1 “Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you; (verse 2 And I will make you into a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing; (verse 3) And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse.

We hope and pray this documentary will help you to understand more about the complex and sensitive issues of the past, and at the same time will also give everyone hope for the future in that one day there will be True Peace in the Middle East.
