Keeping The Ten Commandments, would the world be a better place?
Produced by Howard Conder.

Keeping The Ten Commandments, would the world be a better place?  I am sure that most people in the world would prefer to live in true peace and security where there is Justice for everyone, no more killing, wars, sickness, and disease, including pandemics. People would care and be kind to one another. Each one would do unto others as they would like themselves to be treated. No one seeking their own advantage rather preferring others over themselves. The end of malicious gossip and hate, but rather to love your neighbour as yourself. For love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous, and endures all things.

All of what I have spoken seems impossible in today’s world? The world was never meant to be a cruel harsh place, full of all kinds of evil, death and destruction…. But if only…… if only what? I sincerely believe if only we had abided by a set of perfect guidelines could the world be a far better place to live… if not for ourselves but for our children, and our children’s children and for the other generations to follow….. so they could have a better future. Let me share with you what I believe our world be like if we were to live our lives following the Ten Commandments? To read the Ten Commandments in full, as was they were given by God to the People of Israel, they are recorded in the book of Exodus chapter 20. Jesus simplified the ten commandments when he said: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:37-39). And when you keep these two Commandments, you keep them all. Simples!
