Introducing our new Spanish Channel, Revelación Televisión.
This entry is part 8 of 9 in the series Revelation TV

Allow me to share with you news of a brand new ‘Spanish speaking’ Christian television station that Revelation TV are launching this autumn.

First though a short recap on some of the challenges we have faced as a TV station, being based in Spain. For some time, the leadership of the Revelation TV have been trying to understand why they set up in Spain and have been based there for over a decade. Especially since Brexit, things have been difficult. For example, we as the leadership of Revelation TV, are not allowed to stay in Spain for more than 90 days at a time. How do you oversee and manage the team in Spain when you are not allowed to be in the country? There have been many other challenges of one kind or another whilst in Spain which has hindered and distracted us from advancing the ministry of the ‘English speaking’ Revelation TV channel.

What I am now going to share with you is nothing short of a miracle.

In March I flew out to Spain. It was a weekend when I landed. I was on my own, so I went into the Spanish Studios. I was moved to go into Studio One, which is the largest studio. I wanted to humble myself, so I got on my knees on the concrete floor, and I asked the Lord:

“What was it that you wanted us to do with Spain?”

It was as simple as that.
Following that prayer, I was introduced to so many dear people that were called to reach out to the Spanish speaking people with the gospel message. It soon became apparent that we should start making television programmes in the Spanish language. To date we have made over a hundred original programmes in our Spanish Studios.
We then began to ponder on how to air the Spanish programmes and make them available across Spain. We considered airing them via apps, and social media. They are all ways we will use but most significantly we decided to create a new Spanish channel and broadcast it on the Hotbird satellite, which reaches right across Europe and the northern part of Africa and into parts of the Middle East. We have now signed a contract with Hotbird. At present we are currently broadcasting limited hours, 6am until 12 noon and repeating at 6pm until midnight and eventually we aim to broadcast Spanish programmes 24/7.

What is amazing is that we now have many other Spanish speaking programmes featuring testimonies, music shows, Bible based children’s programmes, and a whole range of shows that will build people’s faith in God and His Holy Bible. In these days where there are people losing their faith, and others who are to hear the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPELS for the first time, we believe the Lord has given us a new challenge. I believe one of the most important directives that Jesus spoke before he left the earth is in Matthew chapter 28:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Spain does not have an Evangelical Christian channel. We are humbled at the privilege of commencing this new work and would appreciate your prayers and support.

Blessings, Howard

In 1997 a dear couple who were watching Howard’s programmes on Identity Television, a subsidiary of BET (Black Entertainment Television) insisted Howard put his testimony onto videotape. Anyway, a long story made short. Even though the filming took place around 1996/7, Howard did nothing with it for about four years.
