This entry is part 3 of 5 in the series Howard Conder In Sports

Howard scored Goals in Surrey FA and WFA Walking Football trials and tournaments.

Narrated by Lee Payne former Newcastle United player.

Here is a selection of videos where Howard scores goals mainly from Walking Football games organised by the Surrey FA league. Howard still plays and prefers to play normal football several times a week. Such games are usually played in Spain where there is a great set of ex-pat players ranging all the way through from late teens to sixty-year-olds except for Howard who is in his mid-70s.
Howard really enjoys playing football and although he has suffered from ill-health since having Covid in January 2021 and subsequently has been hospitalised twice since with two heart attacks, he nevertheless still insists on continuing to play.

Included in this video you will see Howard playing in a trial for England over 60’s team where he scored two goals but failed to be selected for the Over 60’s but was selected to be the South East England player/manager and remained so for two years until he could not travel back and forth to run the team due to Covid travel restrictions.

However, more importantly, Howard was selected to represent his country for both the over 70’s and then the over 75’s where they were to be playing against countries such as France, Italy and Spain but again due to Covid-19 none of these games were possible.

Howard as written proof of most of what is to follow but because of data protection, it’s not possible to include herein but should this ever go to court, no doubt these emails can be disclosed.

Very sadly Howard was due to play at St. GEORGES PARK where the England Team trains and because of reasons he could not get a truthful answer from the WFA, he was dropped and it was not because of his playing abilities as on the last trials he did, the England Captain said Howard should be given the player of the tournament as he had scored in two out of the three games he trialled in and still to this day Howard has not received a truthful reason why he was suddenly dropped from the England team.

Howard believes it was because of a series of phone calls he received from the over 75’s manager who kept asking Howard about his religious beliefs and also about financial matters pertaining to Revelation Tv.

It was during one of these phone calls to Howard by England Over 75’s Manager that Howard was beginning to become concerned and suspicious that the manager was looking for a reason to exclude him from the team when Danny suddenly ended a conversation by putting the phone down on Howard.

There was a lot of gossip and slanderous lies being spread about Howard amongst the Walking Football Teams and Howard thinks that this also didn’t help, and such hate-filled online abuse Howard received has stolen his chances of ever playing again in competitive Waling Football games.

However, as Howard says, he would rather be counted worthy to be accepted as a follower of Christ rather than as a player for his country.
