Amazing divine guidance if not more Miracles that Howard experienced from 1990 to the present day:

God willing, I want to share with you my notes for the up-and-coming Life Stories yet to be told.  As previously, I intend to produce them in video format but first I thought some of you might like a heads-up on the rough outlines of the same in note form. Please note that I am dyslexic, therefore my spelling and grammar is very poor.

In my last Howard Conder Life Stories Music episode 4, I already shared about the call and prophetic word to go to Romania in Eastern Europe with Harvest International.

God willing, I plan to share what my wife Lesley and our two young boys Luke and Joel experienced when we travelled to Romania. This was shortly after the demise of Nicolae Ceausescu circa 1989-90  We, the Conders, alongside others who were called to help at that time some 34 years ago. We used our own all be it limited funds to bring as much aid as possible and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the people of Romania which would have been the first time in a generation that they would have heard the gospel message. The everyday people of Romania were very poor, and the orphanages were Dickensian in both looks and operations along with a handful of other people who were also called of God saw the tremendous needs in Romania and we used practical ways to help. Most of this outreach was videotaped by myself and God willing I will include the videos of the soon-to-come Howard Conder Life Stories-Times of Ministry Episode 1.  First, let me tell you a little about how this all kicked off:

Nicolae Ceausescu was the general secretary of the Romanian Communist Party from 1965 to 1989, and the second and last communist leader of Romania. He was also the country’s head of state from 1967 to 1989 and widely classified as a dictator. As anti-government protesters demonstrated in Timisoara in December 1989, he perceived the demonstrations as a political threat and ordered military forces to open fire on 17 December, causing many deaths and injuries. The revelation that Ceaușescu was responsible resulted in a massive spread of rioting and civil unrest across the country. The demonstrations, which reached Bucharest, became known as the Romanian Revolution—the only violent overthrow of a communist government in the course of the Revolutions of 1989. Ceaușescu and his wife Elena fled the capital in a helicopter, but they were captured by the military after the armed forces defected. After being tried and convicted of economic sabotage and genocide, both were sentenced to death, and they were immediately executed by firing squad on 25 December 1989.

The accounts that we will be bringing to your screens are very moving and at the same very positive to see how the Romanian People coped and survived. So many abandoned babies in the maternity hospitals were left without parents to love and care for them and we share how we adopted such a baby, having first met her when she was only ten days old and finally legally adopting her several months later. I am so blessed to have been re-directed by the Lord from joining Mercy Ships in the USA to travelling 5,000 miles to be one of the first cameramen to video Romanian people accepting Christ on their knees with tears and thanksgiving, in the same place in Timisoara where some had been killed only weeks and months earlier by order of the tyrant Nicolae Ceausescu.

Also, God willing, we will be sharing when we returned back from Romania to the UK and set up a video production suite in our Apartment in the Ewell Road Surbiton.
